Microsoft some time ago secretly released the latest version of Microsoft Defender, which if you find it will get the latest interface from Microsoft Defender which is automatically installed, Monday (27/02).

Don't be surprised that there will be a new look that appears in Microsoft Defender, which will appear in the Start Menu. This new look from Microsoft Defender will appear for Windows 11 and Windows 10 users. Regarding this change, it should not be so surprising because the company has been testing this since a year ago.

In the next few weeks, you will most likely just have to wait for Microsoft to provide an update that will automatically change the new interface in Microsoft Defender in Windows 11 and Windows 10. This installation is similar to when you installed Microsoft 365, which will automatically be installed when you have installed Microsoft 365 previously.

"If you have an active Microsoft 365 subscription and have already installed the Microsoft 365 apps, then the Microsoft Defender app will be automatically installed for you with the next update." Microsoft wrote.

(Translation: If you've enabled a Microsoft 365 subscription and have installed apps from Microsoft 365, then apps from Microsoft Defender will automatically install in future updates).

According to Windows Lates, this update will be rotated by Microsoft starting at the end of February 2023 and will continue in March 2023. The new look of Micosoft Defender itself can be updated (If it already exists) in the Microsoft Store or even download it.

This won't be charged for Microsoft 365 users, but if you don't subscribe then you will likely have to spend money to get access. The new look from Microsoft Defender will later display information about security systems, virus alerts, to threatening Threats both on devices and connected devices.

Development is still continuing, and it seems that Microsoft is not ready to release Microsoft Defender for all types of Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines, as evidenced by the large number of user reviews in the Microsoft Store that can't even access Microsoft Defender or even work when installed.

"I uninstalled it, and my Windows Defender function still does not work. This is a major problem for me," one of the users noted in the reviews section of the Microsoft Store listing. I can't access Windows Security at all. It says I need to install the app, but I already have it installed; I can't even access it through the app," wrote one user.
