Microsoft Teams Presents Avatar Feature in May


Microsoft will now provide support for new features that they will present through Microsoft Teams, quite interesting because previously they have indeed provided support for new features that are quite offering a different experience, Wednesday (15/03).

Some time ago, Microsoft has added their new feature through Microsoft Teams which is given a feature for audio and video enhancements when used when making video calls or Video Conferences.

"Avatars for Microsoft Teams gives you that much-needed camera break, while still allowing you to collaborate effectively. You can add a new layer of choice to your meetings and represent yourself the way you want with customizable avatars and reactions."

Regarding the new features they will provide, Microsoft will release an Avatar feature that allows its users to create an Avatar version of themselves. Later users can make a video call that will display their Avatar image.

This feature will later be released globally, also Microsoft wrote that they will release this feature on MacOS. So for those of you who use the Microsoft Teams service on MacOS, you don't have to worry about not getting new features.

Based on the Roadmap they released through the company's official website, the release of this Avatar feature will be released in May 2023. Because previously according to their schedule that the release of the Spatial Audio feature was also released on March 8.

Their roadmap will still continue, Microsoft will certainly still provide support for improved performance and features on their platform, services such as OneNote, SharePoint and Teams will still get improved performance and features. This feature improvement will continue until 2024.
