Microsoft has provided their weekly latest update support for Windows 11 Insider Dev Channel users with Build 25284, which provides many improvements to the Widget feature. But there are a number of new problems that cause the system to be unable to connect to the VPN network, Friday (27/01).

Some time ago, Microsoft has officially released their latest update for Windows 11 Insider Dev Channel users with Build 25284, where this update does provide many fixes over the issue previously reported by Insider Dev Channel users.

Not only that, Microsoft also provides a collection of new features in Widgets for developers who want to design the appearance of their application interface in the Windows operating system through Widgets. Of course, this provides further support for every application developer.

Unfortunately a problem has just been added by Microsoft, where through the Known Issue they released explains that it is very likely that Windows 11 Insider Dev users will experience interference to be able to connect to the internet network through a Virtual Private Network or VPN.

Through the changes and improvements to the feature in the Changelog given by Microsoft, they found a Known Issue and it has been confirmed that users will get interruptions when trying to connect into the VPN network. This will provide a less comfortable experience for users who are used to using VPN services to connect to the internet network and browse web pages.

In the Microsoft forum page, we found a few useful tips as temporary fixes that can be used by Windows 11 Insider Dev users, where it is only necessary to follow a few steps below:

  1. Access Edit Group Policy.
  2. Search for Computer Configuration.
  3. Select Administrative Templates.
  4. Select Networking, then DNS Client.
  5. Find and select Configure NetBIOS, edit the configuration to Enabled.
  6. In the Configure NetBIOS Settings section you can change it to Allow NetBIOS Name Resolution and select OK.
  7. The last step you can search for Turn Off Multicast Name Resolution and change the setting to Disabled and select OK.

If all the above steps have been completed then close the program and please do restart your Windows 11. While waiting for the fix provided by Microsoft then you can follow some of the steps above yes
