Two days ago Microsoft released their latest update for Windows 11 Insider Canary users which comes with OS Build 26040 which brings a lot of changes. One of the changes they brought was the logo in Task Manager which came with new colors and was more aligned with WinUI.

This OS 26040 build does come more with improvements, one of which is Screen Cast which can perform better, one of which is choosing screen extensions that are now available in the Action Center.

Another improvement that is no less cool is Windows Setup which comes with UI changes, even the changes presented are also in the ISO version that you can use when you don't get the Windows Updates version.

Image access by connecting via mobile is also obtained in the Canary version, where now you can integrate Mobile Devices easily in Windows 11.

To get it you have to access Settings, Bluetooth and select Mobile Devices which later you can try to connect Windows 11 with Android-based phones.

“We are also beginning to gradually roll out a new feature for Windows that introduces the ability to effortlessly access and edit your most recent photos and screenshots from your Android mobile device in Snipping Tool on your PC. With this feature, you’ll receive instant notifications on your PC whenever a new photo or screenshot is captured on your Android device.

To enable this experience, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices (this settings was updated with Build 26016 in the Canary Channel) and choose “Manage devices” and allow your PC to access your Android phone. Your PC will get a Cross Device Experience Host update in the Microsoft Store that is required for this experience to work.”
